Barry Evans, whose charm and peppy good looks had served him so well during the 1970s and 1980s, couldn’t catch a break once he entered his
forties. Movie and TV roles dried up, and he ended up driving a cab to earn a meager living. (Ironically, in 1976 he made a movie comedy called Adventures of a Taxi Driver. Ouch.) And as if that isn’t disheartening enough, wait till you hear about his death. In 1997, Barry was found dead in his small Leicestershire bungalow, sprawled on his couch with four and a half times the legal alcohol limit in his body. Friends reported he had been drinking two bottles of booze a day, so down in the dumps was he over his diminished circumstances and stalled 
career, and even worse, his car had been stolen just days before. The circumstances surrounding his death were complicated and at one point a homicide was suspected, but the suspect was ultimately released. To this day Barry Evan’s death remains an enigma. ok.enough.wana continue crying...
